I have a very old MacBook Pro. It is a MA610 /A1211 (MacBookPro2,1, 15-inch, 2.33 GHz T7600, ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 Graphics card), released at late 2006. I wanted to install Windows 7 on it. Now the Windows 7 on my old MacBook Pro works fine. It took me two whole days to install Windows 7 on my old Mac. I met all kinds of problems and tried hard finding way to fix these problems. Solution 1.Select a Startup Disk in System Preferences

I have a Macbook pro, and it has a 64G SSD. I install lion on the disk. Lion OS takes lots of space, and not much space left, so I took the superdrive away and installed a second 500G HDD on my Macbook pro. But Google Picasa, the photo manager app take Gigas space on SSD for cache purpose (thumbnails, indexes…). Here I will show you how to move these data off you SSD to Hard Disk Drive:

First, create a new folder on your HDD, name it whatever you want. I will call mine "appsupport".
