What's new with new CyanogenMod Android 2.2 for Sharp IS01 /sh-10B

• earphone now works out of box, no need fixing anymore
• volume up / volume down short cuts work
• GPU enable
• camera works
• new memory menaging system
• Sreen lock, auto wake up when the screen be open(need patch, just follow my installation guide)

Sharp IS01 or SH-10B is lightweight 5-inch Android phone with keyboard. But sadly it comes with Android 1.6 system. (To learn more about it, see my last post: IS01 (Lynx SH-10B) root, android 2.2 / 2.3 and other tips.

CyanogenMod offers great features not found in the official based firmwares. Now it is ported to Sharp IS01 / sh-10b by DevRenax. The port is based on Android 2.2 (froyo). So, you can replace the old 1.6 rom on IS01 with a new froyo now. I will tell what works and what not with current CyanogenMod Android 2.2 for Sharp IS01 first, then I will show you how to install it on your IS01. Here we go.Read more >>

Toshiba AC100 (or Toshiba Dynabook AZ) is a lightweight smartbook. It only weights 860 grams with a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 screen and built-in keyboard. It runs Android 2.1 /2.2, which does not fit well with the book. The good news is some hackers are working on an Ubuntu linux system on it. Here I will show you how to install Ubuntu for Toshiba AC100.

There are some instructions on installing Ubuntu on AC100 already, but I found most of them are outdated or uncompleted, so I write this one. Here I will show you how to install Ubuntu with 2.6.32 kernel to the internal storage of AC100 or external SD card.

To Install Ubuntu on Toshiba AC100, you need to do two things. First, you need to copy Ubuntu system files to a SD card or to the internal storage.
